Restroom Award by Phlush to Opiniator for Restroom Alert System
Good news! – Oberon3 has received a restroom award from Phlush at the recent World Toilet Day. Oberon3 is the parent company of Opiniator. The prize was bestowed for services to public restroom feedback and for supporting the mission of Phlush:
Through education and advocacy, PHLUSH helps local governments and citizen groups provide equitable, effective public restrooms
Matt Selbie, President of Oberon3 proudly accepted the award.
We received the award because we support the Phlush mission. Specifically by enabling real-time alerts for users of any restroom. This means the user can immediately notify staff of an issue so that the restroom is always operational.
The Critical Importance of Bathroom Cleanliness
The quality of the restroom experience is hugely important because it impacts the perception of that brand by the visitor. In fact:
94% of U.S. adults would avoid a business in the future if they encounter an unclean restroom. Harris Interactive 2011
Therefore, it is a business imperative to allow the visitor to deliver on-site, in restroom feedback. Having this coupled with prompt response means the restrooms are always clean, safe and working. Maintenance or janitorial crew get alerted if there is an issue. So they now can fix the problem before it affects other users, or incurs higher maintenance costs. Moreover, the message specifies the issue. Perhaps cleaning, maintenance, graffiti or a dripping faucet.
We are also delighted to announce that we now have a feedback product specifically for restrooms. The new product is Flushcheck – a mini me version of Opiniator that even allows a photo upload in addition to the main restroom problem. All feedback is tracked until completion, even thanking the user when the issue is fixed, hence completing the feedback cycle. Check out the short video on its features page.
Our restroom feedback and alert system is now used in over 450 locations.
