What is Supervisor Sign-Off?

When an alert is closed, it should be truly resolved—not just marked off a list. Supervisor Sign‑Off adds a crucial quality-control step: once staff reports that an issue is handled, a supervisor reviews the work and officially confirms closure in Opiniator. These two roles can be assigned to anyone receiving an alert.

Why is Supervisor Sign-Off Important?

Imagine a guest reports an out-of-stock paper towel dispenser. Staff attend and mark the job done—but only after a supervisor inspects and confirms “towels replaced, dispenser working,” is the alert closed. Every step is tracked, every fix is verified, so the business always know the status of an issue.
